Since Granny Hepzibah catapulted me into this new life in 1998, I’ve been learning how to organize my research results into this extensive hypertext document, producing several “sections*” dealing with various topics in our vast family story. Toward the end of 2007, in the interest of protecting the record from the certain eventual obsolescence of the Internet in its current form, I undertook to translate my HTML code into PDF display format and produced a complete hard-copy printoff of the whole thing, as it then stood. It has evolved since, of course, but I take comfort in the existence of at least this much relatively-durable backup.
The first section to emerge in printable and machine-interpretable PDF was the adventurous seventeenth-century love-story of eighth-great-grandparents William and Mary Ball Munroe, of Lexington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. This section hasn’t evolved much in the thirteen years since. I’ve embedded the 2007 PDF version below: *They used to be “Presentations,” until Rick kindly suggested the improved terminology. You may possibly encounter that language, particularly in early drafts. |
