At the Winter Quarters Temple on the 17th, with old Arlington friends.
Rick worked for George one summer in the sewers. We stayed with them at Winter Quarters a couple of times, on our way to and from Keokuk. Their daughter Jacquie showed us around the Nebraska Capitol. My old library table (a gift of Jerry [Clinky] Cline) still bears (underneath) a sticker, testifying in Debbie’s hand, since her high-school days: “I love George Bryan”—their son.
Bob and Norma Chandler
Competed good-naturedly with him to bring Alberta to Church in Cambridge.
Major revelatory event: Bob Chandler as founding Bishop of the One True Ward.
Nobody could ever be mad at Bob Chandler

I’ve answered cheerfully to “Dick” from only three men
I’m “Andy” by preference, largely as a prophylactic against that alternative.
Learned about Macouns (pronounced McGowans) from Gus.
Agostino Manderino, of Arlington and the U. S. Army, met and wed Betty Smith of Tooele, Utah.
