AAA Divorce

Back when we lived in the new, spread-out Merrimack Stake, it seemed prudent to invest in a pair of “memberships” in the American Automobile Association. Sorta like life insurance, inasmuch as Valerie was putting a lot of miles on Brunnhilde in her stake Primary responsibilities. They made a lot of money off us for 41 years. Then this happened.

They didn’t exculpate. We let our “memberships” lapse and added roadside service to our State Farm auto insurance, for $5 a year. It has been entirely satisfactory, since then.
