That’s two for two, for Laura. We’re proud of Tucker, of course, but everybody knows where the credit mostly resides, when a family manages this particular achievement.
Amazing bird, too. Rick recently gave me a monumental biography of Napoleon, in which I just read about the debates that swirled about when he declared himself Emperor and had to choose a suitable set of symbols. Ultimately settled on the eagle, even though many of his fellow European potentates had already gone that way. But he wanted to connect himself with Charlemagne and Caesar. |
