2001—July: Hartford
Treasure Cities

The way these folks intermarried within their congregation, I’m doubtless some sort of kin to most of them. Much research remains.

These are the surnames that I can already trace back to direct ancestors in the early years of Hartford:
  • Butler
  • Hooker
  • Olmsted
  • Ruscoe
  • Seymour
  • Stanley
On the Twenty-Fourth of July (yes, Utah Pioneer Day), Valerie and I visited this graveyard and took these pictures. Also a number of gravestone shots which I haven’t yet matched up with my family tree. Maybe I’ll live long enough to get the job done. If not, I hope somebody in the family will undertake it.

I’ll include some of the graveyard images a little later, under the “Buried Treasures” rubric.
