Kittens and friend, warm day |
Mexico’s not very far south of San Bernardino, and much of
its terrain looks a lot like
San Bernardino. Behold a group siesta, with cute little furry participants and one sweaty high-schooler of our acquaintance. And need we be reminded that this was long before residential air-conditioning became common, at least at our end of the economic spectrum?
This also seems to be our only record of the bedroom and double bed Brent and I shared, at the northeast corner of the homestead. Not that there was all that much there to motivate shutterbuggery… I still cherish the yellow-painted “toy-box” that sat at the foot of this bed. Not sure when it last contained actual toys. Nowadays it’s here in Kaysville, full of family memorabilia. |
