Small footstones to the left, large headstones to the right, sixth great-grandparents Oliver Wheeler I and Abigail Woods, parents of Granny Hepzibah’s Revolutionary hero husband Oliver II, lie in the Acton North Cemetery, right up against the current Carlisle line. |
As you can see, their gravestones are curiously isolated from those of their neighbors. I can imagine some interpretations, but none with confidence.
