Not sure why Mel’s inscription appears in my junior-year issue of the Pacificana, (he graduated the previous year) but here it is.

Our faculty advisor, the reliably laid-back and long-suffering Mr. Louis Lopez watched over us tolerantly and steered us away from the worst blind alleys that chronic high spirits might have led us into.
