Wind Quintet

From the 1956 Pacificana, the wind quintet that some older band friends (seniors, that year) organized. Here, in their band uniforms, at center, foster brother Del Riddle complete with handsome drum major outfit and the bassoon which he played very impressively. Paul Chapin, at left was also very creditable on his flute. Pity they couldn’t quite manage to spell Ralph Bevilacqua’s name correctly… Dunno whether it would have helped if they could have translated it as “Drinkwater.”
