Good Night, Norma
Actually, the flowers were a bit premature in the case of our stepmother, Norma: you may notice that her side of Pappy’s stone then bore only her birth date. She was still with us for another three weeks, but not particularly happy about it. While her health lasted, she had been active and outgoing as ever, at the Seville Retirement Center on Center Street in Orem, serving as hostess for visiting entertainers. But she went home to Pappy on September 22, and we loving siblings gathered on Dave’s front porch in Provo a week later, before caravaning down to bury her at Pappy’s side in Montecito.

Chrissy compiled a beautiful funerary tribute to her mother, entitling it
“The Life of Norma Pardoe Wright Anderson, 1915-2003; ”
