Grandma was a wondrous fount of stories of earlier times, most of which none of us had ever heard. For reasons of her own, she objected to our efforts to record her. So the kids hid a tape recorder under the couch. She didn’t catch on until the tape ran out, and one of the boys dove for the machine to get it going again…

Does anybody know what became of the tape(s)?
