A couple more personality shots of our Toddler Doodle.
The slide—even this diminutive plastic one—held pretty much universal fascination for the younger set. For some reason, people these days are amused by the very Seventies (Nineteen-Seventies, that is) finish on our kitchen range. The refrigerator matched, I think. And our carpets ran to avocado, as you see. Not too surprising, given that we arrived on the Timbaloo scene in 1973. |

When we replaced those appliances, it was because they quit working, not because they became stylistic relics. Such matters tend to matter, to lots of folks. Not, particularly, to me. I suspect Valerie would have been glad for something more modern… |
