P7069 Inspired by the Vassall House and other colonial-era gems, we decided to change Timbaloo’s color scheme, setting off the new soft yellow with white trim, in place of chocolate. After living with it for a while, and before these boys posed on the steps, we’d repainted the pillars and the stair risers white.

Sorrowfully, but in the ever-prepotent name of Safety, we had also torn out the large third-floor windows on the Ashland Street side, replacing them with smaller, modern versions that the boys couldn’t just step out of.

I think the pair between Erik and Rick were Kristin Azar’s older brothers. Must verify with her.
