Ce soir – demain matin, plutôt – à 2h00, nous prendrons un train à Paris pour la grande [32] conférence de la mission. La conférence va durer pendant toute la journée, et nous arriverons ici encore à 1h00 jeudi matin, à peu près. Président Moyle va être là, aussi bien que plusiurs autres grands officiers de l’Église. Tout le monde s’attend que la mission va être divisée encore, devenant les missions française et belge. Si cela arrive, la mission française ne sera que la
Bretagne, la Normandie, et les autres anciennes provinces du nord, de La Rochelle jusqu’à Rouen, Paris, Troyes, et Dijon à l’est. Ce n’est que la spéculation maintenant, mais on verra bientôt.

We didn’t find anything today, but some real estate people told us that something suitable will turn up in a week or maybe sooner. We aren’t despairing, yet. This evening – tomorrow morning, rather – we’ll take a train to Paris for the big [32] mission conference. The conference is going to last all day, and we’ll get back here again around 1:00 a.m. Thursday. President Moyle will be there, as well as several other high Church officers. Everybody expects that the mission will be divided again, becoming the French and Belgian Missions. If that happens, the French Mission will consist only of Brittany, Normandy, and the other former northern provinces, from La Rochelle to Rouen, Paris, Troyes, and Dijon on the east. That’s all speculation for now, but we’ll see, soon.
