Teacher, 1955

As a Teacher in the Priesthood, so ordained near my 14th birthday, again (as almost always) by my worthy Pappy, I was still doing my duty. The sticker says I attended all my Priesthood and Sacrament meetings in 1955, not just the 75% that the Individual Award required. That’s evidence not only that I was a well-behaved boy, by the listed criteria, but that I was also a pretty healthy one. They didn’t credit you for sick days.

Shirley Bogh was still our bishop, but Rex Babb had moved on to another assignment, replaced in the bishopric by Ted Wells.
