’Twasn’t what you’d call classic beach weather, but Tahoe makes a good outing, as long as the snow’s off the road.
One sidelight: this enormous lake, high up in the mountains just east of Donner Pass, may be the world’s greatest standpipe: it was a delight to experience Sparks’ marvelous water pressure, ’specially once we got used to the trickles that emerge from Davis County plumbing. |
