Don’t think I’ve mentioned before that our two beautiful blue-eyed children became our little family’s first surgical patients, very early on. First Chris, then Cyndi, as toddlers, developed hernias which our friend Dr. Leroy Wirthlin repaired at Massachusetts General Hospital. We were amazed at their regenerative powers: Roy closed each incision with a butterfly bandage (no stitches), and each energetic squirt was walking and climbing within a couple of days. |
