Our whole district (except me, behind the camera) by the casserole: Elder Joe Keddington, Sister Karen Stevens, Sister Reba Keele, Elder Lynn Mitton (praise be to his name), Elder Dee Peterson, Elder Dan Aldridge, and Elder Mitton’s companion whose name I’ve also mislaid, in my dotage.
October 20 (concluded)—Our outing to Mont St-Michel was a huge success. This time, we were privileged to relax and enjoy an omelette Mont St-Michel, a gigot d’agneau du pré-salé, and all the local specialties and ambiance that go with those delights.

We got a kick out of walking all the way around the Mont. The tide was very low, and so we were able to do it, with the help of my two pairs of rubbers. The [210] sand there is very fine and can easily become quicksand, but the locals assured us that the nearest quicksand these days is a couple of kilometers out to sea. A bit muddy, but I got fine pictures of the Mont from all sides.
