11-29 Une petite histoire, racontée par soeur
Calloc’h, notre vielle Bretonne:

11-29 A little story, told by sister Calloc’h, our old Breton:
Before her conversion, she had two big statues, one of Christ and the other of Saint Anne. She wanted something, and so she prayed a long time to her Saint Anne. But she didn’t get anything! Furious, she smashed the statue into a thousand pieces and threw it in the trash. Then she turned to her Christ statue, shaking her finger and saying: “That could happen to you, too!”. She started praying to the statue, but nothing happened this time, either. So, she got angry again and, not daring to destroy this graven image, she threw it out in a field, where a farmer found it and took it home. He died the next month.
