Seminary 1956-57 |
Junior year 1956-57, we studied the New Testament.
“Coach”1 Mammy was a tough grader: I didn’t draw A-minuses from any of my other teachers. If the public school had accepted Seminary grades, that first-semester A-minus might have dropped me out of the Valedictorians’ Society. I don’t recall that Pappy expressed any distress over this report. He signed it, each quarter, in any case. As parent, not as Seminary Supervisor. |
