National Merit Scholarships

In the finals, however, Pacific High School went three-for-three, while San Bernardino High School had one-for-four. Each of us three Pirate semifinalist guys was awarded a full-ride scholarship to the college of our choice.

San Bernardino High School was pleased that Lonna LaGreco was similarly honored. So was I, school partisanship entirely aside. Lonna was a great kid; hope she’s still having a happy life.
