Gladys Dyal’s Productions |
Gladys also coached small ensembles. This double quartet I know about because that’s I, the leftmost (bass) guy, basically terrified to put my arms around her daughter Karen (alto). Pretty nice press notice, you’ll agree. By dint of numerous Sunday-afternoon practices at the Dyals’ home on Pacific Avenue, we got good enough to be invited to sing in other people’s Sacrament meetings. Don’t bet a lot on the accuracy of my memory, at this point, but I seem to recall that “My Shepherd” was also this group’s signature number. |
