After a decade of experience, the cards had become a reliable annual ritual. To the extent that I’ve got the sequence right, you can watch Brent and me grow, year by year. A major point of the whole exercise, of course, what with the bulk of our relatives still living in Utah and seeing us rather seldom. |
| Mammy’s seasonal note to her beloved big sister. Verna and Ken are “folks,” this time. I don’t think she was really rubbing it in about the climate difference between northern Utah and the fringe of the Mojave Desert. Pappy woulda, but not she. |
