Christmas Greetings, 1949-1950

We did love our cats. This was too early for Pinky and Blue Boy, I believe; more likely their mother Popcorn, or even her mother Candy. ’Fraid I’m not entirely clear on the chronology. This was the year of my baptism; Brent turned four around the time of this photograph.

And we did sing together, particularly while divvying up the dishwashing and drying tasks in the kitchen. But probably not this early: Pappy staged this particular example of family harmony.
