The Seely Family, Christmas 1941 |
We also observed my first Christmas with Mammy’s family, the descendants of Grandpa Arta McLean Seely and Grandma Alfaretta Neff Seely. This was the next-to-last Christmas of Grandma’s life; so, my memories of her are of the fuzziest. She’s sorta front-row center here, largely concealed by my curly-haired cousin Jacki; I’m looking dour, on Mammy’s lap near the upper right.
I think this was taken in the living room of the grandparental abode on 4th West in Brigham City. Pappy, often missing from photos in his capacity of designated shutterbug, is at top left; wonder, idly, who was behind the camera… The next page identifies everybody in the picture. |
