The Accident

All went well in Pau, but on the way back, in the neighborhood of Bazas, it all turned horribly wrong. Elder Romney was driving, with his companion and the Farels in the back seat. Duane rode shotgun, with Leola perched on the console between him and Mitt, unbelted. They came across the scene of an accident and stopped to render assistance. Soon after they resumed their journey, a Mercedes crested a hill on the wrong side of the road and collided with them head-on.
