Winter 1942

Something like a year later, we had moved 150 miles north to Ogden. Once again, it’s sunny, but this time we’re both dressed for the icy blast.

For us, this is a personal favorite image of Leola. The camera seldom really caught the Leola we knew, but she shines through here.

He’s kinda cute, too.
