50th Reunion, MIT ’62

This once-in-a-lifetime event, of course, was the driver for this summer’s travels. We hadn’t attended my own Commencement in 1964, being expected tout de suite at Stanford. Nor Stanford’s, the next year, for a similar reason. It was a lovely affair, of course: MIT knows how to put on a show. Perhaps less consciously-upscale traditional foofaraw than farther upstream at the “Boys’ School on Mass Ave,” but impressively done, nonetheless.
