2003—“Berdoo” Reunion

These distinguished brethren, all oldtimers who didn’t move away, occupied the stand and addressed us. Wish I could remember the name of the one on the right. His first name started with “M”—Maurice, maybe? Not a close friend of the family, as far as I recall.

From our own generation, we posed with Larry Bogh (son of Shirley and Vera) and with the inimitable, indispensable Walt (“Walter Walter Wildflower”) Terry. An amazing guy, of deep humility: had I mentioned that he was touched when I told him of our parents’ sobriquet for him? Said he hadn’t imagined that they’d honor him with one.
