2001—April: Salt Lake City Cemetery |
Buried Treasures |
The Salt Lake City Cemetery was sacred to our family, long before April 28, when we went there and learned about it. We have purchased our own grave-plot there and a modest stone to mark it: sorta like voting with your feet.
Some of our kids think we’re dreadfully morbid. We think we’ve done them a favor. Those buried here already include close and distant relatives and also their friends, neighbors, and yokefellows over a century and a half of pioneering in the tops of the mountains. |
Two of the Sections in my “I Blame Hepzibah” document many connections that we hope posterity will see fit to honor.
