Kathryn Irene Bassett Pardoe and Thomas Earl Pardoe, 1959 |
Norma, a notably dramatic person, was a daughter of T Earl and Kathryn Pardoe, Dr and Mrs Drama at BYU for decades. A performance hall on campus bears their names, and T Earl was the founding head of the Drama Department.
Both lived to welcome Pappy as a son-in-law, although T Earl (the family called him “Bampa”) died in 1971; Kathryn (“Nana”) survived her husband by several years. |
