Not to be outdone in ancientness (ancience?) by neighboring Loches—nor, for that matter, by rather a lot of sites in the Valley of the Loire, Luynes boasts its own turn-of-the-millennium Gallo-Roman aqueduct remains. Among the best-preserved in the area, with eight reasonably-complete arches surviving. |
