Lemons in the Snow |
And back in the far northeast corner of our lot,
Mammy rejoices
that our lemons seem none the worse for the deviant weather.
The lemon tree was another of our favorite photo-op backdrops. Click here for some wonderful shots that we took there. |
Mrs. Schreiber occupied the house
behind the tree. What we’d call these days a
“mother-in-law apartment.”
South of the lemon tree, by the other end of Mrs Schreiber’s place, this little seat was built into the picket fence by some unknown predecessor. Don’t recall ever sitting on it to any memorable extent, but one of our cats seems to be enjoying it. Looks like Blue Boy, but I can’t be certain. |
