Christmas 1967 |
In Paris, folks got to know Duane’s slide camera, but he lacked a darkroom or time to use it.
So, for her last mortal Christmas, Leola hand- wrote seasonal greetings on Paris note-paper (printed downstairs, by the Mission Printer). This one came back to us from whatever “Dear Friends” (we’ve lost track of which ones) she blessed with it. |
The stationery reflects her setting in Paris. It’s profoundly comforting to read how very happy she was to have us there for Christmas. |
