Thaddeus Munroe (1753-1828) |
Cousin (1C7R) Thaddeus Munroe went to Hillsborough, N.H, late in 1776 or early in 1777. He served in the Revolutionary War, as you can plainly see.
Thaddeus’ father Joshua Munroe, son of “Corporal Joe” and brother to Hepzibah’s father Nathan, was a founder of Carlisle, Massachusetts, when it split off from Concord. Uncle Joshua and his wife Aunt Ruth were among the original members of the church in Carlisle, established in 1781. |
