Bond’s Memorial |
In the first book* ever published by the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), Dr. Henry Bond presented what was known in 1850 about the families of early Watertown, with a still-definitive account of the history in which they participated.
This is his “memorial” of four Ball generations in Middlesex County; the first two Johns are our Mary Ball’s immigrant grandfather (#1) and father (#3). * Bond, Henry, M.D., Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts. Republished as a compact disk (Boston:2002) by the New England Historic Genealogical Society, with Historical Society of Watertown, Watertown Records. **I’ve put many details of the governmental process in Pages Mary 6-12; to skip to Page Mary-13 and particulars about the Bacons, click the preceding link. |
