Watertown: Founder ancestors |
The peculiar position of John Warren in this display merits immediate comment.
Two of John’s children, as it turns out, brother and sister, became our direct progenitors through separate lines:
Parenthetically, a similar situation arises in the case of Watertown pioneer John Bigelow’s parents, Randall and Jane Baguley, whose immigrant daughter Elizabeth married Richard Butler in Cambridge in 1630. The Butlers, early residents of Hartford, became direct ancestors through our Seymour line. The parents, Randall and Jane, are our 8th GGP through Elizabeth’s shorter Butler line, and also our 10th GGP through that of son John. |
