Appendix: Saint-Côme

Somebody please help with this one. I can’t recall whether the ruined Abbaye Saint-Côme was close to Rennes or to Tours—and therefore whether we missionaries visited it in 1963 or 1964. Nor, to my shame, what’s distinctive or important about it.¹ I think the figure at right was one of my yokefellows in the Rennes district, but I can’t be sure.

¹Google, strangely enough has been no help. The only Saint-Côme they know seems to be a ski resort in Switzerland…
