Christmas 1966 |
This was the folks’ first visit to the East Coast since 1957. By this time, we were beginning to earn our epaulets as Boston-area tour-guides.
They found this December beach scene (Revere Beach, I think, but it could have been elsewhere) rather different from what they were used to. “Old Ironsides” never disappoints, though. Once again, it was only later on that we discovered a Seely among those who had sailed on her. Mammy would’ve been thrilled. |
