This one I can’t see with dry eyes. I’m not sure of the date, but it was late in the Second Millennium AD. Our homestead had already been abused and abandoned. Later, they’d tear it down. To our simultaneous pain and relief. As Pappy said at least once, “A lot of love happened there.” |
