Human Sociability, aka Dates

Same occasion, same people, pairwise. In the northeast corner of the living room.

Don and I seem to have shared a tendency to freeze up at the camera’s approach. His eyes would shut about half-way. I seem to have been a man of action, on the other hand. No half-measures for my eyelids.

Mammy loved to entertain. Looks like a yummy collation she put together for us.

Am I blushing, here? Maybe a bit, but that rosy-cheeked appearance seems to have persisted, even under conditions of no discernible stress. Friends in France would later kid me that I must have imbibed a lot of hard cider, in the manner of the Bretons whose accent they kindly found in my speech, to develop that regional trait.
