This would seem to be her official obituary in the San Bernardino Sun-Telegram. Its date hasn’t been preserved, but it apparently came out late in the week of the accident.

Leola’s coffin sits in front of the speaker’s podium at the Third Ward Chapel on Pacific Avenue, nearly concealed by a small sample of the flowers that came from everywhere.
