Next stop in Switzerland: Bern. Or, as the (sorta) French-speaking Swiss spell it, Berne. Home to the first Latter-day Saint temple in Europe. In front of which Duane gathered the BYU flock around Leola.

Whoever then snapped this photo of Duane and Leola wasn’t as good with a camera as our Duane. We had to rotate it, crop it, and adjust it in several ways. Worth the trouble: it ends up as one of our best portraits of the two of them, and one they were clearly happiest to pose for.
