Leola, Tourist

The year: 1963. Duane and Leola are on their way to Europe, at the head of a BYU travel/study excursion group. On their way to the Continent, they pause for this shot of Leola and Linda Foutz at 46th and Broadway, in New York City. Guess we could have put this extensive sequence in the “Leola the Teacher” section, but the folks were never ashamed of their travels. Not even close. “Tourist,” it is.
