Great-great-great-great-great-grandpa Oliver Wheeler II,
of Acton,
Massachusetts, a
Plantagenet
descendant, married Hepzibah Munroe
of Billerica
in 1773 and fought in the Revolution. Around 1778, as the war wore on elsewhere, the young couple
joined a number of relatives in
settling “Concord End” in Hillsborough,
New Hampshire.
Two pieces of evidence indicate that Oliver was not far from Concord Bridge on the 19th of April, 1775, when the Redcoats came:
