Joseph Russell (1636-94)

By some accounts, Benjamin Russell’s big brother Joseph followed the example of their pioneer parents by producing, with his wife Mary Belcher, just short of a dozen children.

Of whom two daughters, our 1C10R Abigail and Prudence, contracted marriages that connect us with some wonderfully historic folks.
