1C7R Jonas Munroe (1752-1840) was at age 18 the drummer and the youngest of Carlisle’s Minute Men at Concord Bridge. In 1785, his father Joshua deeded to him his grandfather Corporal Joe Munroe’s Westford Street homestead. In 1830, his son 2C6R Jonas was an incorporator of the Union Calvinistic Society, Carlisle’s Second Religious Society. |
