19GGM Beatrice de Stafford, born circa 1341 in Staffordshire, England, fourth child and second daughter of 20GGP Ralph, Lord Stafford, and Margaret de Audley; married firstly, in 1350, Maurice FitzGerald, 2nd Earl of Desmond (d. June 1358); married secondly, 19GGF Thomas de Ros, 4th Baron de Ros, of Helmsley; married thirdly Sir Richard Burley, Knt.; she died 13 April 1415.

In 1364, he accompanied the king of Cyprus to the Holy Land; and was in the French wars, from 1369 to 1371. He was summoned to parliament by both King Edward III of England and King Richard II of England. He died at Uffington, Lincolnshire, 8 June 1383, and was buried at Rievaulx Abbey.
Thomas Ros married 12 April 1363, Beatrice Stafford, daughter of Ralph Stafford, 1st Earl of Stafford, by whom he had four sons and two daughters. Their last child was 18GGM Margaret Ros, who married 18GGF Reynold Grey, 3rd Baron Grey of Ruthin. |
