Our Farewell Hegira

Philadelphia

On our way to stay with Bill and Jo Maitland in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, we stopped in Fayette County to see Erik and Kyra. The Maitlands went with us to the amazing Philadelphia Temple. We were mightily impressed that the Church was able to blend this Temple into the historical context of downtown Philadelphia.

When we drive across the country, it’s always for the sake of arriving back home, in the Boston area. We stayed in Hull with Mary Beth and absorbed as much of the durable spirit of our home ground as our withered old spirits could accommodate.
