Sweet—
Spent much of yesterday filing complaints against Michaelson đź‘ą with the feds (FTC), the state, and the “city” cops. I’ll attach the paper-work, in case you’ll find amusement there. Actually, it might be a good idea that you peruse it, in case you can suggest useful amendments. Here’s the principal text for all three filings:
“Called them and expressed interest in their “Fall Special.” “Paul Kantner” came to our home, took our money ($396 in cash) and left a detailed receipt, promising, among other services, “unlimited snow removal...All snow will be cleared off within 24 hours of snowfall”. Snow fell. Two days later, a representative of J.J Snow Plow (cm62335@gmail.com; 801-702-6560) came and offered to shovel, but by then our neighbors had done the job. Last night (Friday 6 Jan) Mary (Dulce) Martinez of J.J Snow Plow knocked on our door and shared a two-page list of other addresses whose proprietors had purchased the Fall Special. Mary said that “Michaelson” had hired them (J.J) to shovel but then had not paid them. “Michaelson’s” office address is one of those outfits that rent office space on an as-needed basis. Their phone tree promises return calls but doesn’t deliver them. The personnel directory in the phone tree appears to be empty; in particular, the alleged company president (“Craig”) isn’t listed. Their website looks fairly professional, but it doesn’t seem to reflect any verifiable realities. Mary says she has a real number for “Paul”, but that he’s very evasive and can’t be reached via the advertised phone number.”
